The short version: Our tools run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type into any calculator are never sent to our servers and are never stored anywhere. We use third-party advertising (Adsterra) and analytics to understand site traffic. We never sell your personal data.

Gaugeify.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at gaugeify.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
We collect two types of information:
Information you provide directly
- Contact form submissions: Your name, email address, and message content when you contact us through our contact form.
- No account data: We do not offer user accounts and therefore collect no login credentials, profile information, or account-related data of any kind.
Information collected automatically
- Log data: When you visit our site, our web server automatically records your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This is standard web server logging.
- Cookies: We and our third-party partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 3 for full details.

2. How Your Calculator Data Is Handled
Your calculator inputs are never transmitted to our servers. All 50+ tools on Gaugeify run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. When you type a number into any calculator, that data is processed locally on your device and the result is displayed in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to, stored on, or accessible by Gaugeify’s servers.
This means:
- We cannot see what numbers you entered into any calculator
- We cannot see your financial information, health data, salary, or any other personal inputs
- Your calculation data is automatically discarded when you close or navigate away from a tool
- No account or login is required because no data needs to be saved server-side
This architecture was a deliberate design choice to protect user privacy. Tools that handle sensitive data — financial figures, health metrics, salary information — should never require you to trust a third-party server with that data.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use the following types of cookies on gaugeify.com:

We may use Google Analytics or similar analytics services to understand how visitors interact with our site. Analytics data helps us understand which tools are most popular, where our traffic comes from, and how to improve the user experience.
Analytics services collect anonymized information such as browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users by name or email.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Contact Form Data
When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This information is:
- Used solely to respond to your inquiry
- Retained for up to 2 years for follow-up purposes
- Never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing
- Processed by our form provider (Formspree) which has its own privacy policy
We will not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited data in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Third-party providers who help operate our website (hosting, analytics, form processing, advertising). These providers are contractually required to protect your data.

- Business transfer: If Gaugeify is acquired or merged, user data may be transferred. You will be notified of any such change.

9. Children’s Privacy
Gaugeify is a general-purpose tool website intended for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU) without verifiable parental consent.
Since our tools do not require registration, children can safely use all tools without providing any personal information. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us at privacy@gaugeify.com and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and post a notice on our homepage for significant changes.
